Prepify
Job seekers were drowning in generic prep resources: YouTube playlists, bloated courses, static question banks with no feedback. Prepify needed to be different: a product that adapts to the individual, measures real progress, and gets smarter with every session.
The interview prep market is massive and almost entirely useless. Candidates memorise answers to lists of questions, walk into interviews, and freeze the moment the question comes out differently. The feedback loop is broken:you only find out you weren't ready when you don't get the job.
The client came to us with a clear hypothesis: if you could simulate a real interview, grade the responses, and surface exactly where the candidate is weak, you'd have something worth paying for. Our job was to build the product that proved it.
We started with the feedback loop, not the feature list. The most valuable thing Prepify could do was show a user exactly where they were falling short:by role, by tech stack, by question type. Everything else in the product would flow from that insight.
We designed the interview generation engine to be role and stack aware: a frontend candidate gets Figma and Tailwind questions, a data scientist gets Python and ML. The AI grades each response and produces a skill radar that maps current performance against what the target role actually demands.
“We needed users to feel momentum from session one. The skill radar does that:it shows you exactly where the gap is, so you know what to practice next.”
The core product is built around three loops: generate, practice, improve. From the dashboard a user generates a mock interview by specifying a role and tech stack. The AI produces a tailored question set, conducts the session, and at the end generates a detailed performance summary:scoring communication, technical accuracy, and depth of reasoning separately.
The skill radar is the emotional centre of the product. It updates after every session and shows cumulative progress across categories. Users don't have to guess whether they're improving:the radar tells them. The prep cadence sidebar surfaces the most effective practice schedule based on their current weakness profile: behavioral rounds on Monday, technical drills mid-week, feedback review on Friday.
Prepify launched to a waitlist of 3,000 users and crossed 50,000 completed mock interviews within the first four months. The 95% reported success rate comes from post-hire surveys:users who landed roles at 100+ companies attribute the structured feedback loop as the decisive edge.
The product has since expanded to include company-specific interview tracks, peer comparison benchmarking, and a B2B tier for coding bootcamps and universities that license the platform for their students.
